The Specialty Coffee Association Story
The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) was formed by The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and The Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) in January 2017.
A non-profit organization, The Specialty Coffee Association represents coffee professionals from producers to baristas. The SCA has a world-wide pool of experience and talent with a common goal of working towards an improved, sustainable future for every member.
The SCA acts as a unifying force within the specialty coffee industry. The association is founded on openness, inclusivity, and the power of shared knowledge to create a worldwide network of like-minded coffee professionals.
Lalico Coffee are members of the SCA and is happy to pass on the knowledge we gain from membership.
